NJCAA announces week six Game of the Week on ESPN+
Charlotte, NC – The NJCAA has announced details for the week six NJCAA Football Game of the Week on ESPN+. The match-up will feature the sixth-ranked Snow College Badgers playing host to the No. 11 Georgia Military College Bulldogs on Saturday, October 1 at 3:00 PM ET / 1:00 PM MT in Ephriam, UT.

The Badgers enter the Game of the Week with a 3-1 record. The first NJCAA Football Game of the Week on ESPN+ featured Snow in a win over Trinity Valley 36-14. The Badgers then traveled to New Mexico Military in the week two Game of the Week and lost 38-7 to the defending national champions. In the third week of the season, Snow earned a victory in an overtime thriller at No. 8 Butler with a final score of 50-49 after converting on a two-point conversion in the extra session. The Badgers enter the matchup with the Bulldogs after an extra week to prepare, having a bye in week five.
Snow comes into the Game of the Week averaging 407.8 yards per game and is second in the nation with 946 yards on the ground. The Badger offense is scoring 44.5 points per game while the defense is holding opponents to 25.3 points. Snow is led by a strong trio of running backs - Carsen Manookin, Targhee Lambson, and Rahsul Faison. Manookin is averaging 4.8 yards per carry with two touchdowns. 2021 NJCAA DI Football Second Team All-American, Lambson is averaging 70.7 yards per game with a touchdown. Faison is averaging 5.7 yards per carry with four touchdowns. Linebacker Cole Bowers leads the defense with 9.7 tackles per game, 3.5 tackles for loss, and two forced fumbles. Bostros Alisandro leads the secondary with 3.7 tackles and three interceptions.
The Bulldogs enter the Game of the Week with a 4-0 record. Georgia Military College kicked off its season with a shutout win 54-0 over Georgia Christian College. Monroe College visited Milledgeville and the Bulldogs secured their second win of the season 27-7. The Bulldogs' defense accounted for their second shutout of the season with a 39-0 win over visiting ASA Miami. Georgia Military's fourth win was against visiting Lackawanna 34-12. The Bulldogs also enter the Game of the Week after a bye.
Georgia Military enters the Game of the Week averaging 314.3 yards while only allowing 107.0 yards. The offense is scoring 40.0 points while they are holding their opponents to 2.3 points, the lowest in the nation. The offense is led by Tayler Gant, NJCAA DI Special Teams Player of the Week honoree in week two, who is averaging 120.3 all-purpose yards with two return touchdowns and two receiving touchdowns. La'Darius Ceasar is the leader in the backfield with 12.3 yards per carry and six touchdowns. The defense is led by DE Kiemer Richardson who is averaging 2.7 tackles with four sacks, and six tackles for loss. Linebacker Tavion Barnes has 3.7 tackles with two sacks, three tackles for loss, and one fumble recovery.
