NJCAA Announces Partnership with VOKKERO
CHARLOTTE, NC – The National Junior College Athletic Association has announced a new partnership with VOKKERO, the flagship wireless communication brand of VOGO, a global leader in professional sports audio and video technologies.
Through the partnership, VOKKERO will work with the NJCAA to support enhanced communication across multiple championship events. While VOGO provides the broader technology ecosystem, VOKKERO systems deliver clear, real-time, hands-free communication for officials, coaches, sports staff, medical teams, and event personnel — even in high‑noise environments.
"We are proud to welcome VOKKERO, part of the VOGO Group, as a partner of the NJCAA," said Dr. Christopher Parker, NJCAA President and CEO. "Clear and reliable communication is critical to the success of championship operations, officiating, and the overall student-athlete experience. VOKKERO brings proven, field-tested technology, supported by VOGO's global expertise, that can elevate our championship events."
VOKKERO, a brand within the VOGO portfolio, offers audio communication systems used across multiple sports and designed specifically for fast, secure, and reliable communication among officials and sports personnel. Its VOKKERO ELITE system — developed by VOGO's engineering teams — is built for professional referees and match officials, featuring full‑duplex communication, advanced noise filtering, simple deployment, and encrypted audio capabilities.
"VOKKERO, backed by VOGO's innovation, is proud to partner with the NJCAA and support its national championship events," said Nick Anderson, Account Manager for North America. "Providing officials with clear, dependable communication is central to our mission, and this collaboration allows us to contribute to the continued consistency and quality of officiating on a national stage."
As part of the partnership, the NJCAA and VOKKERO/VOGO will collaborate to introduce communication solutions and educational opportunities to NJCAA member colleges, conferences, and championship hosts. The partnership reflects the NJCAA's continued commitment to identifying innovative resources that support competitive excellence, operational efficiency, and the advancement of two-year college athletics.
