The Loyalty Award is given to an active athletic director in the NJCAA membership that has worked to uphold the ideals of the organization. Ron Riggle – Lincoln Land Community College (IL)
Ron Riggle has served as the Athletics Director at Lincoln Land since 1997 and is in his 34th season coaching the Loggers baseball team and his 22nd year as head coach. Riggle is involved in the NJCAA in multiple capacities including serving on the NJCAA Board of Regents as well as several NJCAA committees. He is a member of the NJCAA Division II Baseball Committee, the NJCAA Division II Women's Basketball Committee, the NJCAA Sports Governance Committee, and the NJCAA Division II Oversight Committee.
As a coach, Riggle has led the Loggers to great success with two national championship titles in 1994 and 2000. He has also led the baseball team to the NJCAA Division II World Series in 1993, 1995, 2014, 2015, 2019, and 2021.
Riggle played at Lincoln Land in the 1987 and 1988 seasons before continuing his collegiate career at Coastal Carolina University where he was a member of the back-to-back Big South Conference Championship teams.
